How Much Money has Singapore and Malaysia paid for JBS rts link?

The Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link is estimated to cost RM 10 billion (SGD 2.9 billion), with the expenses shared between Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore is covering 61% of the total cost, which amounts to approximately SGD 2.9 billion, while Malaysia is responsible for 39% of the cost, contributing around RM 3.7 billion.

Singapore’s investment includes the construction of Woodlands North station, the underground tunnel, and supporting infrastructure, while Malaysia is funding the Bukit Chagar station, the maintenance depot, and the viaduct on its side. The RTS Link is expected to significantly improve cross-border connectivity, providing a high-capacity alternative to the congested Causeway.
